Performing a factory reset should eliminate the Operating System as the point of failure. I am thinking it’s either an issue with the Audio Driver or worst, the Audio card itself. May I confirm, what is the make and model of your PC so we could try other version of the Audio Driver because sometimes rolling back to an older driver is the solution to problems like this.

Yes No. Sorry this didn’t help. Thanks for your feedback. The issue seems to come off due to faulty Audio drivers. So roll back to the earlier drivers if the system worked perfectly before.

If the issue still persists then focus on the drivers that the latest. Thanks for trying my suggestions, that’s all I can suggest for now.

I will do a full OS reinstall at a later date and see if that works. In reply to blobfhhfhfggfd’s post on July 9, I managed to solve the issue and fix the problem. I did as A User suggested and uninstalled the current driver, then installed an older driver. At some point after that, i went in the sound properties menu and updated to the most current driver. Havent had the issue since. Those drivers may solve the problem. Follow these steps to solve the driver issue: 1. Click on the Start menu and type in Device Manager.
